Located in the 04W (Old Fort Ward) district of Atlanta, A Mano is one of my favorite restaurants of Atlanta. This neighborhood bistro serves handmade pasta and inspired Italian dishes in an unpretentious way. I love sitting on their patio having dinner and drinks with friends. It’s cozy. It’s magical. It’s delicious. It’s how I like to spend my summer evenings.
Their menu is seasonal, but there are a few items on the menu that’s available year around. For me, there are two items on the A Mano menu that I dream about.
Fusilli Pasta with Diver Scallops
A divine classic on the menu. Sweet morsels of tender sea scallops provides a nice contrast against the al dente pasta coated in a cream sauce. Scattered pickled rainbow chard brightens the dish with some acidity. Dusting of earthy mushroom powder for a whimsical touch. How magical does that sound?
Charred Octopus
Tender bites of smoky octopus complimented with an herb potato salad, caramelized fennel and citrus wedge salad. It’s light yet packed full of flavor.
P.S. – Ask for Laura to serve you. She’s amazing.
