Seattle Aquarium | 2019

Conveniently located on Alaskan Way behind Pike Place Market and adjacent to the The Great Seattle Wheel, the Seattle Aquarium was a fun attraction while visiting Seattle during the summer of 2019. Not the biggest aquarium in the world, but it is very manageable and cute. If you’re a sea life fanatic, you may be left underwhelmed. Here are some tips if you decide to visit.

  1. The main building, which houses Guest Services, is the busiest part. It will get less crowded as you go further.
  2. Come early if you can. We got there around 10:30 am and the place was packed. Do note, we were there during the summer so the placed was packed with families, but I’ve heard it’s busy year round.
  3. I highly recommend getting a City Pass to save you some money I highly recommend getting the Seattle City Pass if you plan on visiting other Seattle attractions. General Admission is $35, which is pricey in my opinion. To put things into perspective, the Georgia Aquarium is only $32, and there is a lot more to see.
